Attending -Gene Williams, Bonnie Priekszas, Campbell Calvert,
Adele Zink(acting secretary)
Purpose -to plan a presentation for the city council on current
status of the library building plans at the March 15 council
meeting
Gene Williams will introduce the speakers.
Peggy Arnold, librarian, will report on the financial condition
including sources of funds.
Campbell Calvert will discuss the Laurel Library Trust and the
books that were donated to the trust by Elsie Johnston and their
potential value.
Charles Goldy, project architect, will present the building plans
and model and will answer any questions.
Sue Carter will discuss needs such as funds for curb, gutter,
sidewalks, and sitework.
In other matters Gene Williams expressed concern over the
receipts we use in collecting public donations. We discussed use
of serial numbers in the future to insure they are not misused.
She also mentioned that Sara Parker suggested we request another
grant because we could use the value of Elsies books. To be
discussed at a future date.
