Attending -Gene Williams(presiding), Campbell Calvert, Sue Carter,
Adele Zink,Bonnie Preikszas, Peggy Arnold
Minutes -read and approved
Communications -Peggy Arnold received a call from Bruce Ready
concerning a donation and a call from W.T. George about getting
federal archives material on patents. Gene Williams read a letter
from Sara Parker, former State Librarian.
Report of the Librarian - Traffic for Sept. 88 was 1,917 down 17%
from Sept. 87, down 3% from Aug.88. Circulation for Sept. 88 was
3,319 down 23% from Sept. 87, down 9% from Aug.88.
Committee Reports -
Trust -Camb Calvert reported on the insurance on the Laurel
History Books.
New Business -A motion was passed to authorize the Laurel Library
Trust to proceed on the planning and construction of a central
circulation desk. Fundraising for landscaping was also discussed.
