Regular meeting of the Laurel Public Library
Board of Trustees
May 23, 1989 1:30 p.m.
Attending -Gene Williams(presiding), Bonnie Preikszas, Campbell
Calvert, Sue Carter, and Peggy Arnold
Minutes -read and approved
Report- Traffic for April was 2,650 up 14% from April 88. Circulation
for April 89 was 4,395 up 6.6% from April 88.
Committee Reports
Dinner -Sue Carter reported on the no -host dinner to be held
after the dedication.
Centennial parade -Bob Graham will use his wagon for the
library.
Program for the dedication -a motion was passed to accept ` the
the draft of the program.
New Business -A motion was passed to close the library on July 3
and to allow library employees to use a day of vacation.
Next meeting- June 27, 1989 at 1:30 p.m.
