ATTENDING -Gene Williams, Campbell Calvert, Bonnie Preikszas,
and Peggy Arnold
MINUTES -read and approved
COMMUNICATIONS -Ricky Johnson, new director of the Parmly
Billings Library will visit the Laurel library at 9 a.m.
on Sept. 6. The Laurel babysitting co -op would like to do
a project to help with childrens materials. The Laurel
Woman's Club would like to do a small project for the library.
REPORT OF THE LIBRARIAN - Traffic for July 89 was 1,971 up
10% from July 88. Circulation for July 89 was 4,058 up 15%
from July 88.
NEW BUSINESS -A motion was passed to give the Laurel Babysitting
Co -op permission to conduct a book sale if they wish and
to use the proceeds for children's materials for the library.
