Attending -Gene Williams(presiding), Adele Zink, Bonnie Preikszas,
Margery Toombs, Sue Carter(2:30), Carolyn Boyd(2:30),Peggy Arnold
Special Report- Margery Toombs showed us the products she
and Mr. Toombs engrave for memorial boards and wall plaques.
Minutes -read and approved
Report of Librarian - Circulation for Sept. 89 was 3,034 down
8.5% from Sept. 88. Traffic for Sept. 89 was 1,787 down
7% from Sept. 88.
Committee Reports
Federation Advisory Board -The next meeting is on Nov.
4 at 1p.m. in Joliet. No one will be able to attend.
Special Report - Carolyn Boyd, Joint City- County Library Board
Member, discussed the Laurel Library use by county patrons.
She suggested that any change in finances would have to
come from the County Commissioners.
New Business -Adele Zink presented a letter of resignation
at this time. A motion was passed to have an article in ef-
the paper about the resignation and the opening on the Library
Board.
