LAUREL PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES

Attending -Donna Kilpatrick( Wig), Shirley
Vennes, Burt Kucera, and Peggy Arnold
Minutes -read and approved
Communications -Peggy Arnold received otification
that she has been awarded a certikof commendation
for reaching level III of the state's Voluntary
Certification Program for public librarians.
The library has received several donations and
gifts for books.
Committee reports -
P.A.L.S. -Peggy attended the Nov.19 meeting
in Billings. The Blue Bear study was discussed.
Circulation - Traffic for October 92 was 2,424 up
4% from Oct. 91. Circulation for Oct. 92 was
3,172 down 2% from Oct. 91. Traffic for Nov.
92 was 1,982 up Z% from Nov. 91. Circulation for
Nov. 92 was 3,436 up 26% from Nov. 91.
Old Business -We will continue to work on the policy
manual.
New Business -There was discussion on developing
a pamphlet about the library.
Announcements -The library will close at noon Dec.
4 and at 1 p.m. on Dec. 31. Peggy and the library
staff have been weeding the library and updating
the patron files.
Next meeting -Jan. 26 at 7 p.m.
