LAUREL PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES

Attending -Donna Kilpatrick(presiding), Burt Kucera,
Sue Carter, Shirley Vennes, and Peggy Arnold
Minutes -read and approved
Communications -We received a donation of $25 from
the Unity Garden Club and donations of Videos
and books from the Beartooth Composite Squadron
of the Civil Air Patrol.
Old Business - National Library Week will be April
17 -23. Donna has some volunteers for a play on
Tuesday April 19. The members of the Laurel Federated
Woman's Club and the Laurel Women's Club would
like to have a silver tea or open house on Wednesday
April 20. It was suggested to try to get some
authors here for a book signing at the same time.
An art show will be planned for May 2 -13. Shirley
Vennes and Sue Carter will work on this.
New Business -Peggy will get estimates for cupboards,
counters, large broom closet, vanity and sink
for the community room.
Circulation - Traffic for Jan. 94 was 2,310 up 10%
from Jan. 93. Circulation was 3,859 up 16% from
Jan. 93.
