Attending -Donna Kilpatrick(presiding), Marilyn
Minch, Sue Carter, Katherine & Bert Kucera, Shirley
Cahill, Peggy Arnold
Minutes -read and approved
Communications -We have received many donations
for the Eugenia Williams memorial fund. Mel Williams
would like to see a shelving project started.
Sue Carter suggested we look into refacing rather
than replacing the shelves. Peggy submitted the
State Library Report.
Circulation Report- Circulation for Sept. 95 was
2,252 down 23% from Sept. 94. Traffic for Sept.
95 was 1,276 down 23% from Sept. 94.
Old Business- Children's Book Week will be Nov.
13 -18. New books and a sign up sheet for prizes
will be featured during the week.
New Business -Board members will submit questions
for consideration to put in a survey. Other discussion
at this time included the purchase of posters
for the children's room, asking the Laurel Garden
Club to help with plants inside the library, and
having Bernice Mason do some programs through
the extension service.
Next meeting- Wednesday Nov. 1 at 7:15 p.m.
