Attending -Donna Kilpatrick(Pres.), Katherine Kucera,
Shirley Cahill, Dick Hatfield, Bert Kucera, Peggy
Arnold
Minutes -read and approved
Guest -Dick Hatfield presented the board with information
about a fund raiser he would like to undertake for
the benefit of the Library. He will organize and
participate in a Jumpathon with funds being raised
on a pledge basis. A motion was passed to seek
approval by the City Council for the Jumpathon.
Communications -none
Circulation Report - Traffic for October was 1,640
down 4% from October 94. Circulation was 3,252 up
1% from October 94.
Old Business -We received some ideas for survey questions
from board members. Nancy Schmidt is the new Library
Clerk. Bookmarks and posters have been ordered for
Children's Book Week Nov. 12 -18. A motion was passed
to use the Williams Memorial for the wall units
in the community room.
New Business - Katherine reported on the Federartion
Advisory Board Meeting she and Peggy attended Oct.
28. Peggy attended a workshop Oct. 31 to learn
about the Internet. We discussed the purchase of
a computer with CD Rom products for the public to
use.
