Minutes for the meeting held on June 11,1997
Attending - Shirley Cahill(presiding), Katherine Kucera, Sue Carter, and
Peggy Arnold
Minutes -The minutes were read and approved.
Coorespondence -We received the agenda for the Federation Advisory
Board meeting to be held June 14. Peggy attended a video conference on
June 2 concerning discounts for libraries for telecommications fees.
Circ. Report- Traffic for May 1997 was 1,506 down 9% from May of 1996.
Circulation for May of 1997 was 3,002 up 9% from May of 1996.
Old Business -The security system is installed and operating, the summer
reading contest has started, and the budget requests have been made.
The policy for use of the libraries computers was adopted.
New Business We discussed a book signing by Catherine Feldman and a
motion was passed to close the library at 5:30 p. m. on July 3.
