Board of Trustees February 11, 1998

Minutes -read and approved
Coorespondence -There is an offline retreat on Feb. 21 & 22 in Biiiings and a
Federation workshop on February 25. Peggy received the budget
worksheets and gets daily updates about the Crate discount program.
Circuiation - Traffic for Jan. 98 was 1,643 up 8% from Jan. 97. Circulation of
materials was 4,220 down 14% from Jan. 97.
0!d Business -The trustees and librarian worked en the budget and
requested increases and new services in several areas. Trustees may
attend budget meetings for the library.
New Business -Ideas of things to do included a book fair during National
Library Week, acknowledging Foxy for volunteering for storytime, and
having cookies available near the deadline of tax filing.
Next Meeting -March 4, at 7 p.m.
