Attending- Shirley Cahiii(presiding), Marilyn Minch, Katherine Kucera, Peg
Freund, Donna Kilpatrick, Peggy Arnold, and Stefan' Schmidt
Minutes -read and approved
Coorespondence -We received a thanky ou from Sue Carter, a copy of the
preliminary budget, and a letter from Catlett* Girl Scout Troop ff3 6.
Circulation- Traffic for June 98 was 1,980 up 24% from June 97. Circulation fur
June 98 was 4,307 Iv 14% from -loin,. 97
Old Business- Katherine Kucera reported on the June 13 Federation Advisory
Board meeting. No new news on the erode discount program and we have not
heard from the OK rep about a summer book sale. We are still setting up the
server and attendance at the Friday morning videos has been good.
New Business - Margaret Freund, our new member, was welcomed to the Library
Board. Wiring and a hub has been added to our network. The Montana
Conservation Corps will do some painting and landscaping ai the library. A
motion was passed to give permission to Cadette Scout Troop #386 to install bike
racks at the library for their Silver Award Project. The following officers were
elected. Shirley Cahill- president, Marilyn Minch -vice president, Katherine Kucera-
Federation Advisory Board representative. Peggy will attend a workshop on .iuiy
25 about the Internet and email.
