Board of Trustees Aug. 10, 1998
Attending - Shirley Cahill(presiding), Marilyn Minch, Katherine Kucera, Donna Kilpatrick,
Peg Freund, and Peggy Arnold
Minutes -read and approved
Coorespondence -We received a copy of the budget, information about new fees for the
Ebscohost data base, and an agenda for the Aug. 22 P.A.L. S. meeting.
Circulation- Traffic for July 98 was 1,732 down 20% from July 97, circulation for July 98
was 3,537 down 12% from July 97.
Old Business -The cadet troop is still working on getting a bike rack for the library.
Window NT has been reinstalled on the server and is working now. No news on the erate
or the booksale.
New Business -A motion was passed to purchase the Ebscohost electronic data base with
money budgeted and with additional money from grants. A motion was passed for Peggy
to take classes on Administration of Window NT if the class is something that will benefit
the library.
