Board of Trustees March 8, 1999
Attending - Shirley Cahill(presiding), Katherine Kucera, Marilyn Minch, and Peggy
Arnold
Minutes -read and approved for the Feb. 8 meeting
Coorespondence -We received a newsletter from the Laurel Genealogy Guild, a
budget hearing has been scheduled for April 27 at 7pm, we will host a workshop
and Federation Advisory Board meeting on May 22 for the South Central
Federation, and we received the information for the MPLA/MLA joint conference.
Circulation - Traffic for February 99 was 1,575 down 5% from February 98.
Circulation for February 99 was 3228 down 1/10 of 1% from February 98.
Old Business -Peggy reported on the retreat, erate, and the legislative session.
The Laurel Federated Women's Club Easter egg hunt will be on March3l,and
their play will be held on April 14 during National Library Week.
New Business -The Laurel Public Library will host the Federation Advisory Board
Meeting on May 22 and a workshop on Parlimentary Procedure. Will have a
garden presentation during National Library Week.
