OF TRUSTEES MAY 10, 1999
Attending- Shirley Cahill(presiding), Peg Freund, Marilyn Minch, and Peggy
Arnold
Minutes -The minutes of the April meeting were read and approved.
Coorespondence -We received checks from U.S. West for erate discounts and
the next Federation Advisory Board meeting wilt be held here on May 22.
Circulation - Traffic for April 99 was 1533 down 14% from May 98, circulation for
April 99 was 3232 up 2% from May 98.
Old Business -The new computers are in place giving patrons three computers to
access the intemet, and giving the staff access also. The Laurel Road Runners 4-
H will plant flowers again this year and the Girl Scouts are collection donations for
the bike rack.
New business -There will be a summer reading program this year. The Federation
Advisory Board meeting will be hosted here at the Laurel Public Library on Feb:MAY
22
with a workshop on Parliamentary Procedure in the morning.
Next meeting -June 14 at 7 p.m.
