Board of Trustees Sept. 13, 1999
Attending- Marilyn Minch(presiding), Peg Freund, Katherine Kucera, Gail Brice, Donna
Kilpatrick, and Peggy Arnold
Minutes -read, corrected and approved
Correspondence -We received notice of a workshop on the Infotrac database for Sept. 14
and the fall workshop in Lewistown Sept. 24 -25. The Montana State Library requested
information for the 2000 Montana Library Directory.
Circulation- Traffic for Aug. 99 was 1,754 up 28% from August 98. Circulation for Aug.
99 was 3,494 up 6% from Aug. 98.
Old Business -The bike racks are being constructed and the Gates grant has been
postponed until January or February. The budget is not final yet, but we will not be
asked to make any more cuts.
New Business - Children's Book Week is Nov. 15 and we will have a contest to decorate
book covers. Also discussed was the possibility of showing videos from the Speakers
Bureau and having classes on the use of the Infotract database.
Next meeting is Oct. 12 at 7p.m.
