Board of Trustees March 20, 2000
Attending - Marilyn Minch (presiding), Peg Freund, Katherine Kucera, Gail Brice,
and Peggy Arnold
Minutes -read and approved
Correspondence -The preliminary budget requests are due March 24. The Laurel
Federated Woman's Club is sponsoring a play and egg hunt on April 19 at 1 p.m.
Circulation- Traffic for February 2000 was 1,616 up 3% from February 1999.
Circulation of borrowed items for February 2000 was 3,196 down 1% from
February 1999.
Old Business -Gail Brice brought some book lists and other materials for samples
of reading program ideas. We worked on a draft for meeting by -laws. The draft
will be completed for the next meeting.
New Business -We will request more money for books in the next budget. Peggy
Arnold has written a job description for the janitor position, since none had been
done previously.
