the catalog will be available to library users in the future.
A pre - school story time is held every Wednesday at 1 p.m. and is sponsored by
the Laurel Federated Woman's Club. A reading program is offered during the
months school is recessed for the summer.
Future goals of the Laurel Public Library Board are to review and revise its
policies with the assistance of the library staff, to insure that public library
standards are met, and to develop a long -range plan that will include a
technology plan. Challenges to be met include but are not limited to educating
staff and library users on new technology, providing library users with current
information sources, and finding additional funding sources to keep up with the
recreational and informational needs of library users.
