HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 901ORDINANCE NO.901 AMENDING SECTION 2.08.150, PUBLIC UTILITIES DIRECTOR DUTIES, OF THE LAUREL MUNICIPAL CODE. BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the city of Laurel, that Section 2.08.150 is hereby amended as follows: Section 2.08.150 Public Utilities Director - Duties. The Public Utilities Director shall: 1. Supervise personnel in maintenance of equipment to insure good operating conditions. 2. Order all equipment and supplies. 3. Work on yearly budget and yearly work schedule. 4. Schedule personnel and coordinate vacations. 5. Schedule all testing and file required reports. 6. Comply with State and Federal agencies. 7. Work with City officials to best utilize and manpower. 8. Serve on various and/or Council's 9. Shall have four funds the Mayor's position within a water or sewer plant with certifica- tions for both water treatment and sewer treatment as required for the City of Laurel. Introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council on September 2, 1986, by Alderman Meyers PASSED and ADOPTED by the Laurel City Council and APPROVED by the Mayor this 23rd day of September, 1986.
