Board of Trustees June 12, 2000
Attending - Marilyn Minch (presiding), Katherine Kucera, Peg Freund, Gail Brice, and Peggy Arnold.
Minutes -read and approved
Correspondence and Announcements -The gates grant process will proceed in August and the summer
reading program began this week. Marilyn will get the picture framed that she found in memory of Adele
Zink.
Circulation -May 2000 traffic was 1656 up 24% from May of 1999. Circulation of materials for May 2000
was 3033 up 8% from May of 1999.
Old business -We have heard nothing new from the Budget and Finance Committee concerning the 2000-
2001 budget.
New Business -We will need to start looking at and revising some of our policies this fall. There is a
vacancy on the library board after this meeting. Bonnie Latham is interested in serving on the board. We
have a plaque for Donna Kilpatrick as this is her last meeting as a board member.
Next meeting -July 10, 2000 at 7 p.m.
