Board of Trustees August 14, 2000
Attending - Marilyn Minch(presiding), Gail Brice, Katherine Kucera,
Bonnie Latham, and Peggy Arnold. Bonnie Latham was introduced at
this time as our newest board member.
Minutes -read and approved for June 2000, no meeting July 2000
Correspondence and Announcements -The 2000 -2001 budget is not
yet final and we received a letter of resignation from Lawrence Trout.
Circulation -June 2000 traffic was 1,718 down 7% from June 1999,
June circulation was 3,413 down 17% from June 1999, July 2000
traffic was 1,576 up 3% from July 1999, and July 2000 circulation was
3,493 down 2% from July 1999.
Old Business- The Gates Foundation training and set up will be on
August 21 and 22
New Business -The following officers were elected:
Chairman - Marilyn Minch
Vice Chairman -Peg Freund
Federation Advisory
Board Representative- Katherine Kucera
We will begin work on revising the collection management policy.
Next meeting -Sept. 11 at 7 p.m.
