Minutes of the Laurel Public Library
Board of Trustees Sept. 11, 2000
Attending -Peg Freund(presiding), Katherine Kucera, Bonnie Latham, Gail Brice, and
Peggy Arnold
.-� Minutes -read and approved
Correspondence and Announcements -We received our per capita State Aid funds and
our interlibrary loan reimbursement. Peggy received the State Library Report forms, and
notice of Gates Foundation training on September 29 and October 2. The next
Federation meeting will be Sept. 30, 2000.
Circulation- August 2000 traffic was 1,754 down 10% from August 1999. Circulation for
August 2000 was 3,698 up 6% from August 1999.
Old Business -The board members were given copies of the final budget and the
collection management policy.
New Business -We will advertise for janitor services with the city and we will survey
library patrons about library computer classes.
Next meeting- Tuesday Oct. 10, 2000 at 7 p.m.
