BOARD OF TRUSTEES MARCH 12, 2001

Minutes -read and approved
Correspondence -We received notice from Darlene Staffeldt and Suzanne Reymer
concerning our tech plan. We received a $50.00 donation from the Laurel Road Runners
4 -H and the Laurel Garden Club, and Eastern Star have donated books.
Circulation - Traffic for February 2001 was 1,382 down 14 % from February 2000.
Circulation for February 2001 was 2.909 down 9% from February 2000.
Old Business -The Laurel Public Library technology plan has been approved by the
Montana state Library.
New Business -We will be contracting for lawn service if we can find a suitable person at
an affordable price. A motion was passed to allow Peggy to attend the Montana State
Library Summer Institute in Butte June 10 -15. There will be a Federation Advisory Board
meeting April 7 in Billings and the Montana Library Association conference is in Kalispell
April 26 -28. The Laurel Federated Women's Club will be performing a play and hosting
an Easter Egg Hunt on Wednesday Aprill l .
