BOARD OF TRUSTEES APRIL 9,2001
Attending - Marilyn Minch(presiding), Bonnie Latham, Peggy Freund, Gail Brice, and
Peggy Arnold
Minutes -read and approved
Correspondence- We received a letter and survey from the Laurel Public School Family
Coordinator.
Circulation Report- Traffic for March 2001 was 1,581 down 12% from March 2000.
Circulation for March 2001 was 3,423 down 5% from March 2000.
Old Business -We received a proposal from Robertus Lawn Service for grounds
maintenance. A motion was passed to accept the proposal from Robertus Lawn
Service.
Peggy reported on the Federation meeting held April 7. Bruce Newell outlined the State
Shared Catalog project and Darlene Staffeldt reported on the Legislative session.
The Laurel Federated Woman's Club had Leon Moreaux build video shelves for the
library and the Laurel Library Trust contributed for the building materials.

New Business -There will be a budget hearing vo the library budget on April 25 at 7 p.m.
with the budget and finance committee. We will add the monthly usage report for
tnfotrac to the circulation report.
Next meeting May 7 at 7:00 p.m.
