BOARD OF TRUSTEES MAY 7, 2001
Attending - Marilyn Minch(presiding), Kay Kucera, Peg Freund, Bonnie Latham, and Peggy
Arnold
Minutes -read, corrected and approved
Correspondence -The budget and finance committee has given approval for the replacement of
the outside entry doors and for one automatic entry door. The Laurel Volunteer Firemen would
like to construct a child's fire engine for the children's area to display safety literature.
Circulation- Traffic for April 2001 was 1,598 up 5% from April 2000. Circulation for April 2001
was 3,008 up 5% from April 2001.
Old Business - Robertus Lawn Service has started to mow, the summer reading program is
organized. No new budget hearings have been scheduled.
New Business -A motion was passed to raise the nonresident card fee to $5 per quarter or $20 per
year. Peggy will be on medical leave for 3-4 weeks beginning May 31, 2001 Election of officers
will be held next meeting.
