HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 899 ORDINANCE NO. 899 MENDING SECTION 2.08.130, MAINTENANCE DIRECTOR DUTIES, OF THE LAUREL MUNICIPAL CODE. BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Laurel, that Section 2.08.130 is hereby amended as follows: Section 2.08.130 Maintenance Director - Duties. The Maintenance Director shall: 1. Supervise operations of City crew within street department, City shop, cemetery, parks, water systems, sewer systems, and solid waste. 2. Order equipment and supplies needed. 3. Work with budgeting and purchasing within the maintenance department. 4. Schedule personnel and coordinate vacations. 5. Work with City officials to best utilize funds and manpower. 6. Serve on various appointed committees at the Mayor's and/or Council's discretion. 7. Shall have four (4) years experience in a supervisory capacity of construction and maintenance. Introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council on September 2, 1986, by Alderman Meyers PASSED and ADOPTED by the Laurel City Council and APPROVED by the Mayor this 23rd day of September, 1986.
