HomeMy WebLinkAboutLibrary Board Minutes 05.13.2002 MINUTES OF THE LAUREL PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES May 13, 2002 Attending - Marilyn Minch(presiding), Peggy Freund, Katherine Kucera, Bonnie Latham, and Peggy Arnold Minutes- read, corrected, and approved Correspondence- We received a request from the Montana State Library to verify that we are in compliance with library standards. Robertus Lawn service presented us with this years service contract. Peggy Arnold will be going on a bus tour of Wyoming library districts May 17 -18 and she will be attending the Gates Foundation Summer Institute in Bozeman June 11 -14. Circulation- April 2002 traffic was 1,589 down 1% from April 2001, circulation for April 2002 was 2986 down 1% from April 2001. Old Business- The Laurel Woman's Club Bear Day was a success, Bonnie and Peggy reported on the MLA conference, and the summer reading program will start June 3.
