AMENDING SECTION 2.08.125, DIRECTOR OF
PUBLIC WORKS, OF THE LAUREL MUNICIPAL CODE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Laurel, that
Section 2.08.125 is hereby amended as follows:
Section 2.08.125 Director of Public Works. The Director
of Public Works shall be appointed by the Mayor, with the consent
and advice of the Council, for a period of two years or for such
shorter periods as may be designated in the appointment and until
his successor shall be duly appointed and qualified. The position
of Director of Public Works shall be a salaried position. The
Director of Public Works salary shall be established by resolu-
tion of the Council.
Introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council on
September 2, 1986, by Alderman Meyers
PASSED and ADOPTED by the Laurel City Council and APPROVED
by the Mayor this 23rd day of September, 1986.
This ordinance effective 30 days after final passage.
