SALARY OF THE CITY TREASURER
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Laurel,
Montana, that Section 2.04.105 is hereby added to the Laurel
Municipal Code, as follows:
Section 2.04.105. Salary of the City Treasurer.
1) The salary of the City Treasurer shall be Twelve
Thousand and NO/100 ($12,000.00) per year to be paid
semi-monthly, and the Treasurer shall also receive, as a
fringe benefit, insurance coverage under the regular
group health policy supplied to other city employees.
2) The City Treasurer shall be entitled to receive
such small, periodic, cost-of-living wage and salary
increases as the City may grant to other City employees
from time to time, without further action of the Council.
This Ordinance shall become effective as of April 1, 1991,
after final passage ~nd approval by the Council and Mayor.
Introduced on first reading at a regular meeting of the
City Council on February 5 , 1991, by Alderman. Rodgers ,
and passed.
PASSED and ADOPTED by the Laurel City Council on second
reading this 19th day of February , 1991, upon motion
by Alderman Kellogg
APPROVED by the Mayor this 19th day of February , 1991.
