ESTABLISHING CITY OFFICE OF FIRE/BUILDING INSPECTOR
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Laurel,
Montana, that Section 2.08.160 is hereby added to the Laurel
Municipal Code, as follows:
Section 2.08.160 - Fire/Building Inspector. A Fire/Building
Inspector may be appointed by the Mayor, with the advice
and consent of the Council, for a period of one (1) year or
such shorter period as may be designated in the order of
appointment, and until a successor is qualified. The
position of Fire/Building Inspector shall be a salaried
position, with the salary to be established from time to
time by resolution of the Council.
This Ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after
final passage of the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
