Minutes approved as presented
Linda says Laurel Alive had a very good turnout and only 2 left for the year. The Chamber received a
check from Laurel Alive for the electric bill for the Caboose. July 4 was Great. There is a fund raiser
being planned for the awning over the mural. New trash recepticals will cost about $280 each.
Heidi brought a plan for parking on the south side of Main prepared by Randy Hafer. The water filling
station owned by the city is not a good idea as it competes with private business. The City is working on
a park maintenance district. Heidi is going to be doing double duty adding City Administrator to her
duties. Water rates printed in the paper are wrong and will be re published.
Dean says all businesses that want to be stubbed in are done and now he is trying to get everyone on
board for the paving
There have been some additional applications received for Technical Assistance and Facade
Improvement consideration.
The next meeting is August 15, 2011
