AMENDING SECTION 2.16.010 OF THE LAUREL MUNICIPAL
CODE, DUTIES. (CITY CLERK)
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Laurel, Montana, that Section 2.16.010 of the Laurel Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 2.16.010. Duties. It is the duty of the
Clerk to:
A~ <No change>;
B. <No change>;
C. <No change>;
D. <No change>;
E. <No change>;
F. <No change>;
G. <No change>;
H. Make and keep a complete index of the journal,
ordinance book, finance book, and all other books
and papers on file in his office;
I. Enter in a book kept for that purpose.the date,
amount, and person in whose favor and for what
purpose checks are drawn upon the city treasury;
such book is designated as "the finance book";
J. <No change>.
This Ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after
final passage by the c~y Council and approval by the Mayor.
Introduced on first reading at a regular meeting of the City
Council on December 3 , 1991, by Alderman Collins
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Laurel City Council on second
reading this ~7th day of December , 1991, upon a motion
by Alderman 0rr
