AMENDING SECTION 2.96.240 OF THE LAUREL MUNICIPAL
CODE, GROUP INSURANCE.
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Laurel, Montana, that Section 2.96.240 of the Laurel Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 2.96.240. Group Insurance.
A. The City shall, upon approval by two-thirds of the ~
officers and employees of the city, enter into group
hospitalization, medical, health including long term
disability, accident and/or group life insurance
contracts or plans for the benefit of its officers,
employees, and their dependents, and the city shall
pay for such insurance in full for each officer and
employee, as defined in subsection D of this section.

This Ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after
final passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
