AMENDING SECTION 8.16.020 OF THE LAUREL MUNICIPAL
CODE, PROHIBITING THE SALE OF FIRE WORKS WITHIN
CITY LIMITS.
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Laurel, Montana, that Section 8.16.020 of the Laurel Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 8.16.020. To prohibit sale of fire works within
city limits. It is unlawful for any person to offer for
sale, expose for sale, or sell at retail or wholesale,
within the corporate limits of the city, any fireworks of
any nature whatsoever.
This Ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after
final passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
Introduced on first reading at a regular meeting of the
City Council on December 3 , 1991, by Alderman Rodgers
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Laurel City Council on second
reading this 17th day of December , 1991, upon a motion
by Alderman Rodgers
APPROVED by the Mayor this 18th day of December ,
1991.
