AMENDING SECTION 2.08.090 OF THE LAUREL MUNICIPAL
CODE, MEETING - PRESIDING OFFICER.
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Laurel, Montana, that Section 2.08.090 of the Laurel Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 2.08.090. Meeting- Presiding Officer. The presiding
officer of the council shall be the mayor who shall decide
all tie votes of the council but have no other vote. The
chairman of the council (called the president) shall preside
if the Mayor is absent. The Vice-Chairman of the council
(called the Vice-President) shall preside if both the Mayor
and President are absent.
This Ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after
final passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
Introduced on first reading at a regular meeting of the
City Council on February ~ , 1992, by Alderman Kellogg
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Laurel City Council on second
reading this 18th day of February
