AMENDING SECTION 2.08.100 OF THE LAUREL MUNICIPAL
CODE, PRESIDENT AND VICE-PRESIDENT -ELECTION
AND TERM.
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Laurel, Montana, that Section 2.08.100 of the Laurel Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 2.08.100. President and Vice-President - Election
and term. The council shall have a chairman called the
president who shall be elected by the members of the council
from their own number for a two-year term. The Council shall
also have a Vice-Chairman called the Vice-President who
shall be elected by the members of the council from their
own number for a two-year term.
This Ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after
final passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
Introduced on first reading at a regular meeting of the City
Council on February 4 , 1992, by Alderman Grsham
PASSED and ADOPTED by the Laurel City Council on second
reading this 18th day of February
