AMENDING SECTION 2.08.240 OF THE LAUREL MUNICIPAL
CODE, STANDING COMMITTEES.
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Laurel, Montana, that Section 2.08.240 of the Laurel Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 2.08.240. Standing committees. At the first
regular meeting of the council, after the first Monday
in January following a municipal election, the Mayor shall
appoint standing committees as follows:
A. Ambulance;
B. Budget/Finance;
C. Fire;
D. Insurance;
E. Investments;
F. Licenses;
G. Parking & public building-property;
H. Parks & recreation;
I. Police;
J. Public health & garbage;
K. Public utilities;
L. Safety;
M. Street and alley.
This Ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after
final passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
Introduced on first reading at a regular meeting of the City
Council on February 4 , 1992, by Alderman Orr
PASSED and ADOPTED by the Laurel City Council on second
reading this 18th day of February , 1992, upon a motion by
Alderman Marshall
APPROVED by the Mayor this 19th day of February , 1992.
