AMENDING SECTION 5.40.040 OF THE LAUREL
MUNICIPAL CODE, APPLICATION PROCEDURE.
BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Laurel, Montana, that Section 5.40.040 of the Laurel Municipal Code
be amended as follows:
Section 5.40.040. Application procedure.
Application for a license to operate a taxicab business
within the City shall be filed with the city Clerk upon
forms provided by the Clerk. An owner shall set forth
such information as be necessary to show the number of
taxicabs to be operated under the license and such other
information as the Council may require, and including
names and valid drivers license numbers for all drivers.
Proof of such compliance with all state laws and
regulations governing taxicabs including P.S.C. approval
shall be supplied.
This Ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after
final passage of the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
Introduced on first reading at a regular meeting of the City
Council on April 21~ 1992 , by Alderman Kellogg
PASSED and ADOPTED by the Laurel City Council on second
reading this 5th day of May , 1992, upon a motion by
Alderman KilDatrick
