The Tree Board met at 1:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers,
with Pat Hart presiddng. Members present Chuck Rodgers, Sue
Carter, Kurt Markegard and Heidi Jensen, City Planner.
The Trees to be planted at the Cemetary will be 2 Japanese
Lilac's(Syringa) Ivory Silk and 4 smoke bushes. The program
for Arbor Day is May 14, 2011 - 1:00 P.M. at the Laurel Cemetary
gathering area. Invitation list to include, Tree Board, Park
Board, Cemetary Board, American Legion, 4 -H groups and Boy's
and Girls Scouts.
We have $1,000.00 for trees at the Caboose on the southside
of the Underpass. We will meet with Linda Frickle of the Laurel
Alive committee. Z ��
The Budget for trees this year is $10,000 for trimming
and maintance and maybe some for inventory & tree replacement.
