HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 1049ORDINANCE NO. 1049 AMENDING SECTION 17.16.010 TO THE LAUREL MUNICIPAL CODE TO ALLOW TEMPORARY PARKING OF OCCUPIED TRAVEL TRAILERS AND RECREATIONAL VEHICLES ON PRIVATE PROPERTY IN ALL RESIDENTIAL ZONES. IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana, that Section 17.16.010 of the Laurel Municipal Code is hereby amended in part, as follows: Section 17.16.010. Zoning classifed in districts. Zoning for residential districts is classified in and subject to the requirements of Table 17.16o010, which is amended in part as follows: 1. (A) Temporary parking of occupied travel trailers and recreational vehicles as defined in Section 17.08.1130 of this Code, upon private property, shall be allowed in all residential districts of the City of Laurel. (B) "Temporary", for purposes of this ordinance, is hereby defined as a period of time no longer than 14 days (cumulative) in any calendar year. 2. (A) Non-temporary parking of occupied travel trailers and recreational vehicles as defined in Section 17.08.1130 of this Code, upon private property, shall be allowed by special review only in all residential districts of the City of Laurel, pursuant to Title 17, Chapter 68 of this Code. (B) "Non-temporary", for purposes of this Ordinance, is hereby defined as a period of time in excess of 14 days (cumulative) in any calendar year. -1- This ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after final passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor. Introduced and passed on first reading at a regular meeting of the City Council on October 6, , 1992, by Alderman Kilpatrick PASSED and ADOPTED by the Laurel City Council on second reading this 20th day of October , 1992, upon a motion by Alderman Graham APPROVED by the Mayor this October 21 , 1992.
