SECTION 9.22.010 TO THE LAUREL MUNICIPAL
CODE, DEFINITIONS
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED by the

Section 9.22.010. Definitions. As used in this chapter,
the folloming definitions apply:

(1) Minor means a person under the age of eighteen (18)
(2) Person means an individual, partnership, association,
company, corporation or other entity.
(3) Proof of age means a driver's license or other
generally accepted means of identification that contains a picture
of the individual and appears on its face to be valid.
(4) Sample means a tobacco product distributed for tobacco
product promotional purposes to the general public at no cost or at
nominal cost. Samplin9 means the distirbution of tobacco product
samples to the general public for tobacco product promotional
purposes.
(5) Smokeless tobacco product means any substance
containing finely out, ground, mhole, shredded, powdered or leaf
tobacco that is intended to be placed in the oral or nasal cavity,
including but not limited to use or consumption of such substance by
chewing, dipping, snuffing or holding in the mouth.
(6) Tobacco product includes, but is not limited to,
cigarettes, cigars, pipes, any smoking equipment, and smokeless
tobacco products.

final passage by the City Council and approval by the mayor.
