October 5, 2010
A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana, was held in the
Council Chambers and called to order by Mayor Ken Olson at 6:42 p.m. on October 5, 2010.

Mayor Olson thanked the audience members for attending the council meeting.
Mayor Olson recognized that not enough council members were present for a quorum. At this time,
Mayor Olson stated that the council meeting would be rescheduled for Tuesday, October 12 at
6:00 p.m. and the regular council workshop would begin following the council meeting.
Mayor Olson stated that Council President Poehls would work on scheduling a special meeting at
6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 8 for the awarding of the water line project on 3rd Avenue from 7th
Street to 9 Street and 7 Street from 3` Avenue to 5 Avenue. That would allow enough
notification for the successful bidder to start the project next week. If a quorum will be available,
the agenda will be posted late Wednesday afternoon so the council can conduct that single order of
business on Friday.
As no business could be conducted, Mayor Olson apologized and closed the council meeting.
