Dear Mr. Olson;
On behalf of the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation and the
Montana Urban and Community Forestry Association, we would like to congratulate the City
of Laurel on being selected to receive a 2010 Urban Forestry Excellence Award. The City of
Laurel has been selected for its outstanding achievements in creating and maintaining a
sustainable urban forestry program.
The awards presentation will be held at the 12:00 pm luncheon on Thursday, October 7th, at
the general session of the 79th Annual Montana League of Cities and Towns Conference in the
Butte Civic Center at 1340 Harrison Ave. in Butte, MT. It is our hope that you will be able to
