AMENDING SECTION 10.44.030, L.M.C., ESTABLISHING A
FREIGHT LOADING ZONE ON A PORTION OF WASHINGTON AVENUE.
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Laurel, Montana, that Laurel Municipal Code Section 10.44.030 is
hereby amended in part, to add the following freight loading zone
to those which have been previously established under said section:
A freight loading zone is hereby established on Washington
Avenue North in the City of Laurel, running northward from East
Main Street and ending at the alley which is situated between East
Main Street and East First Street, said zone to exist on the west
side of Washington Avenue only, during weekdays only, being Monday
through Friday, inclusive, between the hours of 8:00 o'clock a.m.
and 6:00 o'clock p.m., only. The parking of motor vehicles in such
zone during said times shall be restricted as provided in Section
10.44.040 of the Laurel Municipal Code.
This Ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after
final passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
Introduced on first reading at a regular meeting of the Laurel
City Council on the 17th day of August, 1993, by Alderman Easton,
and passed.
PASSED and ADOPTED by the Laurel City Council on second
reading this 21st day of September , 1993, upon motion by
Alderman Easton
APPROVED by the Mayor
