LAUREL URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY

Minutes of August 2, 2010 were approved as submitted
Linda says the Caboose was painted red and will have some additional lettering and trim painting done very
soon. Landscaping will begin this week. Rock the Block has I more event this year. The Farmers Market
is doing well at Town Square.
Steve says the Work Plan and Implementation Strategy seem good. An annual Work Plan review is
required.
There will be a City Council meeting combining Laurel and Billings that would be good to attend. They
will be discussing one man's opinion there are too many TIE districts
An ad hoc committee is being set up for the sewer project on SE 4` to hopefully move forward yet this fall.
The Technical Assistance and Fagade Improvement drafts are being reviewed by the city attorney.
We are still waiting for financials from Shirley Ewan.
Do we need to look at TIF boundries. Do we need to look at buildings that need to be torn down? We also
need to look at sidewalks, trees planted in the sidewalks, planters and review the entire streetscape project.
We will be going back to one meeting a month starting September 20`h
