The Tree Board met at 1:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers ,
with President Pat Hart presiding. Members present were Emelie
Eaton, Chuck Rodgers,-. Sue Carter and Kurt Markegard. Phyllis
Bromgard came to the committee to ask if she could plant some
cedar trees she was given from Park City and some Arbor Day trees
around the south side of the pond. There is some question as
if there is enough room for the water lines and the trail with
trees growing along side. The committee is to think about it.
The new trees that were planted need to have the water
lines buried and mulched around.
Emelie Eaton moved to enter The Growth Appreciation Award,

seconded by Sue Carter, motion carried. Topics to be entered
include, The Tree Conference held in Oct. 2009, Arbor Day Planting
in April 7 trees planted in honor of Mayor and Council and the

Tree gra- t., with the Trimming of the trees in Riverside Park,
and Planting 27 new trees and underground water system in the
Lions South Pond. The deadline to: enter is � •
The next meeting is July 15, at 1:30 in the Council Chambers.
