Minutes from May 3, 2010 approved as presented
Linda says the hole for the Caboose is dug and waiting for forms and concrete
Laurel Alive has their first event Friday from 6 to 10 with Girls Softball providing food and snacks, Heat
Seekers is the band
4 of July parade route has to be changed due to the road construction.
James is trying to get financials but they are a mess due to Mary leaving. It appears we have about
$158,000 on hand, cost of the water line for the Theater is still up in the air, $7,000 has already been
paid on W. Main which will be all they seem to need —will we get the rest back? State Historic
Preservation will be presenting to the City at McCormick Ranch for approval.
Steve says the question of Laurel Urban Renewal Agency filing a report only if the Agency is provided
with accurate financial information -see the monitor and reporting paragraph.
We are hoping Chuck Dickerson & /or Chuck Rogers will show up to meetings representing City Council
Chris is putting together the application format which will prefer application be made before work
begins.
Next meeting will be June 7, 2010
