April 28, 2010
The Tree Board met at 1:30 P.M. in the Council Chamber,
members present Emelie Eaton and Sue Carter, Kurt Markegard,
Ken Yong and Roger Perkins. There was not a quorum so no
action could be taken.
We discussed the Arbor Day Program, the holes for the trees
will be dug by a backhoe, Friday 12:00 P.M. weather permitting
the Ag. students will help plant.
The Lions Club have 2,000' of water pipe layed at the
South Pond, water needs to be turned on. Plans of 27 trees to be
planted and 7 - 10 Pines are to be donated. The Lions Club have
applied for a grant for 30 trees mix of deciduous armd conifer
trees. Plans are for the end of May for Planting.
Next Meeting May 20th, Thursday at 1;30 P.M. in the Council
Chambers.
