June 17, i981
A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana,
was held in the Council Chambers and called to order by Mayor Larry D.
Herman, at 5:02 p.m., on June 17, 1981, for the purpose of ~arding the
insurance bid.

Note #1 - Their bid was $31,339 but Treasurer's Bond, Employee's Blanket
Bond and Boiler coverage should not have been included in the bid price.
The successful bidder would write these.
Note #2 - Rollins-Burdick-Hunter of Montana, Inc., comprehensive general
liability policy is for $500,000 limit and the specifications call for
a $1,000,000 limit. Therefore they have added options as follows:
#1 $1,000,000 limit add $3,200 making the total bid $39___~,439.
#2 - $2,000,000 limit add $4,400 making the total bid $40_J__0~_~_639.
#3 $3,000,000 limit add $5,200 making the total bid ~.

It was the recommendation Of the Insurance Committee to award the bid to
Williams Agency.
Motion by Alderman Metzger to award the 1981-82 insurance bid to
Williams Agency in the amount of $25,321, seconded by Alderman Brennan.
Carried.
There being no further business to come before the Council at this
time, tho meeting was adjourned a~._~07 p.m.
