Dear City Council Members:
Yellowstone Bank is currently the owner of real estate located on West Main Street. The
specific legal description is:
The part of the SE1 /4 of Section 8, Township 2 South, Range 24 East, described at Lot 1,
Block 3 of Solid Foundation Subdivision, in the City of Laurel, Yellowstone County,
Montana, according to the official plat on file in the office of the clerk and recorder of
said County, under Document #3329877
This real estate has an appraisal completed by Randy Robertson dated September 2, 2009
with a value of $120,000. We would like to offer this lot to the City of Laurel for
$85,000.
Yellowstone Bank would be willing to finance all, or a portion of this purchase price for
up to 15 years at an interest rate of 4.00 %.
We believe that this real estate has some value to the City, so it can continue to allow
access to the Solid Foundation Subdivision for the garbage trucks, as well as regular
traffic from the neighborhood. As the current owner of the property we will not be able
to allow continued use of our real estate as a road.
